Em Software History

Chris Ryland founded Em Software in 1990, after 22+ years working at start-ups in the artificial intelligence, printing, and mini-supercomputer markets.

Chris Roueche joined Em (as an independent contractor) in 1995, after working independently in the game business, and as a principal R&D member at Quark, Inc.

John Whitney joined Em (as an independent contractor) in mid-2007, after graduating from college, but with many years as an open-source Linux developer.
