InCatalog and InCatalog Pro Downloads

First, see the general software distribution download information, if you haven't already. Then, download:

• InCatalog and InCatalog Pro 4/5.2.5.2 for InDesign CS2/CS3 under Mac OS

• InCatalog and InCatalog Pro 4/5.2.5.2 for InDesign CS2/CS3 under Windows

The manual is not included in the distributions above, but can be viewed directly or downloaded from:

• InCatalog User Guide (PDF, 700KB)

Optionally, download the "quick start" tutorial (written for Xcatalog but it applies to InCatalog completely):

• Xcatalog Quick Start Tutorial (.pdf) and

• Tutorial files (.zip).

This tutorial can be used with the full or the demonstration version of InCatalog or InCatalog Pro.

Both the Pro and non-Pro versions of InCatalog are included in these downloads, but they're distinct products purchased separately, according to whether you need to use ODBC-accessible data sources (Pro) or not (non-Pro).

Note that InFlow is bundled with InCatalog. (You may already have a copy if you're using InData.)

If you're planning to use InCatalog Pro under Mac OS X, visit Em's ODBC technology partner Actual Technologies for a full suite of ODBC drivers for Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, OpenBase, etc. For InCatalog Pro under Windows, you can use the built-in or vendor-supplied ODBC drivers for the most popular databases and spreadsheets.

Limits in demonstration mode

In demonstration mode, InCatalog or InCatalog Pro will process (import or export) no more than 50 linked document elements at a time. No other limitations are present.

Host requirements

InDesign CS2 (4.x plug-ins) or InDesign CS3 (5.x plug-ins) for Mac OS X or Windows.

System requirements

Same as its InDesign host application.
